Benefits of Sculptra Aesthetic

Sculptra Aesthetic is made from poly-L-lactic acid, which has been safely used for decades in medical applications like resorbable stitches. Sculptra Aesthetic is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a treatment for the correction of shallow to deep nasolabial folds, commonly called "smile lines."

Wrinkles and folds associated with aging become more apparent because of the breakdown of collagen. Sculptra Aesthetic helps the body replace lost collagen to provide a smoother appearance to the skin. When combined with other injectable treatments like BOTOX® Cosmetic, RADIESSE®, or Restylane® your results can be quite impressive.

Long-Lasting Good Looks

At The Plastic Surgery Group, our Sculptra Aesthetic treatment regimen consists of approximately 3 injection sessions over a period of several months. Sculptra Aesthetic works gradually. Over the course of the treatment period, a more youthful looking appearance is achieved that can last for as long as 2 years. A study conducted for the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) showed both injectable users and women considering a medical anti-aging treatment prefer gradual results that last 2 years (75%) as opposed to immediate results that last only 1 year (25%).
