John Noonan, M.D., Named Chief of Plastic Surgery in the Department of Surgery at St. Peter's Hospital
ALBANY, NY – June 26, 2007 – John Noonan, M.D., F.A.C.S. has been named Chief of Plastic Surgery in the Department of Surgery at St. Peter's Hospital.
Dr. Noonan, in private practice in Albany, has served as an attending physician at St. Peter's since 1980, and as co-director of St. Peter's Craniofacial Center since 1987. Dr. Noonan's appointment will be effective for three years.
Dr. Noonan graduated Cum Laude from Marist College. He completed preceptorships at Westminster Hospital and the University of Glasgow, and received his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He completed his Plastic Surgery Residency at Eastern Virginia Medical Center.
Dr. Noonan is a Diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a Diplomat of the American Board of General Surgery. He is a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association, among others.
Dr. Noonan is married to Barbara Shea Noonan. He and his family live in Slingerlands.
