Ever since we introduced KYBELLA to our Albany, NY practice earlier this fall, we have received a lot of questions from excited patients, website visitors, blog readers, and Facebook Fans. Some are curious about how the breakthrough injectable treatment manages to eliminate fat from underneath the chin without surgery. Others just want to know when they can come in for an appointment.
But a majority has been interested in the cost of KYBELLA, so I wanted talk a little about that in this post. While my colleagues and I expect you to be eager to see your results, we never want you to be anxious to see the bill.
At The Plastic Surgery Group, we charge $1500 for the first two vials of KYBELLA and $1000 for the next two. Here’s why we believe this is a worthy investment:
- With KYBELLA, there are fewer risks and complications compared with surgery. It’s also less expensive than surgery. While the average cost of liposuction, according the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, is $2,971, that fee doesn’t include anesthesia or operating room costs.
- It’s convenient. No downtime is required after KYBELLA, which means you won’t have to take time off work and use up valuable vacation hours. Each treatment takes less than 1 hour to complete.
- After your results are achieved, no maintenance is required. KYBELLA is considered permanent because once the targeted fat cells are eliminated, they can no longer accumulate or store fat. You should not expect to need further treatments once your treatment cycle is complete.
Many of our patients choose to finance KYBELLA. We offer financing to those who qualify through CareCredit. The steps are simple and fast, and our staff is here to help.
Keep in mind that at our plastic surgery practice in Albany, our passion is to help people feel and look their very best. If we don’t sincerely believe a procedure is in your best interest, we will never recommend it to you. Whenever possible, we encourage our patients to consider non-surgical alternatives such as CoolSculpting® and KYBELLA.
If you are considering surgery or non-surgical rejuvenation, remember that the most important aspect of your decision should not be cost, but experience and qualifications. Always make sure you are in good hands, whether you’re having major surgery or a quick BOTOX® Cosmetic injection.
