Nutrition Tips for a Healthier You

Did you know March is National Nutrition Month®? This annual campaign created by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics focuses on how to make informed food choices and how to develop positive eating and physical habits. This year’s National Nutrition Month® theme is “Eat Right, Your Way, Every Day.”

The doctors of The Plastic Surgery Group agree that proper nutrition habits are critically important – not only in preparation for surgery and during recovery, but every day, and thus wish to point you to a number of resources provided by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics this year. You can find guides, fact sheets and questionnaires on the National Nutrition Month® 2013 at the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ website. Resources are available to help people of all ages understand better eating habits.
