Out of the O.R. and Down the Aisle: Plastic Surgery for Brides

Plastic Surgery for Brides

This post was first published on June 17, 2014 and updated on May 20, 2016 with the latest information.

There’s little doubt that cosmetic enhancement is on the pre-wedding to-do list alongside flowers and invitations for brides-to-be from Albany to Saratoga Springs. At our plastic surgery practice, we’ve seen an increasing number of women come in for procedures ranging from fillers to liposuction to prepare for their weddings.

What we’ve seen at our practice is patients who want to look their best for the big day. That’s understandable, and we offer a range of procedures for brides. Some of the most common treatments and procedures we perform for women preparing for their weddings include:

  • Facial therapies: These include chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and laser hair removal. In most cases it’s a good idea to schedule these treatments at least a month before the wedding day or more.
  • Fillers: Plumper lips and smoother skin for wedding photos are only a few injections away. JUVÉDERM® Injectable Gel, RADIESSE®, Restylane®, Perlane®, and Sculptra® Aesthetic are all on the menu of injectables at our practice.
  • Liposuction: Women who want to look great in a form-fitting wedding dress can often benefit from liposuction. Liposuction is also a great way to give patients a more well-defined profile without more invasive surgery.
  • Breast augmentation: Some women see their wedding as the ideal reason to realize their dream of breast enhancement. This requires planning, because patients will see the best results after at least 6 months.

If you’re interested in skin care treatments or professional makeup advice ahead of your big day, we suggest contacting the spa in advance to reserve an appointment. If you’re considering plastic surgery, click here to request your consultation.

I’m having surregy thursday and I initially went with 500cc but my dr suggested 650cc to make me more porpotionate. I’m going with mentor silicone high profile under muscle soft. Already paid for and not changing mind. Serious answers only please. I’m also mother or 2 little girls, ages 1 and 4. How long did you heal?
