Have you wandered around the offices at The Plastic Surgery Group and wondered where all the beautiful artwork comes from? On Friday, September 28, The Plastic Surgery Group celebrated the grand opening of Art de Cure from 5 to 7 p.m. at its offices at 1365 Washington Ave, Suite 200 in Albany. Featured artworks from local artists were on display for purchase and the proceeds benefited the Capital Region Circle of Hope, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that brings women together, offering a unified forum to share the experience of their breast cancer battles.
Metamorphosis II, the gallery of art at The Plastic Surgery Group, has been on display since July. More than a dozen local artists have contributed works to Art de Cure with price tags ranging from $50 to several hundred dollars depending on medium, technique, size and artist.
Art de Cure at The Plastic Surgery Group
“Art de Cure is an event near and dear to the hearts of all the doctors and staff at The Plastic Surgery Group,” said Dr. Lynch. “Not only does this project help spice up our normally ordinary office with spectacular, attractive works of art, but it also helps us raise much needed funds for Circle of Hope, and the timing couldn’t be more perfect as we head into National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We encourage all our local community members to contribute if possible.”
The Art de Cure Grand Opening Event was free and open to the public. If you have any question about the event, or would like to purchase artwork or donate to the cause, please call (518) 438-0505. A big thanks to everyone who came out and supported the cause!
